Job Shift Days Category Imaging and Diagnostics Apply Description Job Summary :
To apply prescribed ultrasonography for diagnosis in accordance with policy and procedure, Practicing independent good judgment and initiative in the utilization of the ultrasound equipment. To apply patient care, communicating the procedure performed, lessening apprehension and in Accordance with the Maryville Imaging Patient Rights Policies. Has knowledge of the needs of patients According to their age group and the ability to modify care according to patient's age.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Performs and documents patient and family education activities including assessing, performing and documenting 2. Provides age specific and population specific care, supports patient's rights and responsibilities including respect of cultural and religious diversity 3. Acquires pertinent patient history and clinical information 4. Proficiently operate all functions of US equipment 5. Select the proper transducer(s) for examination(s) being performed 6. Adjust Doppler/color Doppler controls to optimize display of data
Qualifications Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure:
A.R.R.T. registered preferred R.D.M.S. certified or registry eligible
