(training provided) Is dependable, stable, and capable of committing to this position's responsibilities and duties Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death Has a sincere, mature faith and can disciple those he/she supervises Holds a current license in good standing with the State Nursing/Medical Board (or a current registry and 0B credential if an RDMS) Exhibits strong interpersonal, spiritual, and administrative skills, takes initiative, and is flexible Physically able to stand for long periods, has good eyesight or corrected vision has steady hands and has a good bedside manner Skilled with current technology and able to learn new skills quickly
Reports To :
Executive director/CEO for operations and medical director for medical services.
Supervises :
All medical staff
Time Commitment :
Up to 32 hours/week
Responsibilities and Duties :
Management Develops, maintains, reviews, and updates medical policies and procedures Maintains a working knowledge of nursing methods, principles, and practices concerning the prevention and treatment of disease, safety and infection control, clinical systems, supplies, and equipment Serves as Safety and Privacy Officer and assures compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines Responsible for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Responsible for obtaining and maintaining medical equipment and supplies Nursing Care Organizes, directs, supervises, and evaluates professional and ancillary personnel.
Oversees and provides nursing services:
assessing patient needs and making nursing judgments that reflect safe nursing practices. Reinforces the humanity of the unborn child with the patient. Maintains accurate records, care-plans, and follow-through on physician's orders. Assures accurate implementation of physician's orders and advises physicians of patient's progress and changes in condition. Performs testing, examinations, and treatments according to directives of the medical director. Performs limited 0B ultrasound under the direction of the medical director. Provides education for the patient to develop an understanding of their health condition, including physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Oversees patient follow-up. Able to share the gospel with patients and pray with them as appropriate.
Staff Development:
l) Recruits qualified medical team staff and volunteers to meet the needs of the center. Oversees training and orientation of the medical team, staff, and volunteers. Participates in establishing and conducting in-service meetings. Conducts medical team conferences and discussions in evaluating the clinic services, policies, procedures, and protocols. Provides spiritual leadership to ensure the Godly mission of the organization. 6) Leads staff in group prayer and devotions as opportunities arise.
Public Relations:
Represents the clinic in the community as delegated by the Executive Director/CEO. Attends medical conferences that offer professional training and information pertinent to the clinic's practices.
Professional Development:
Maintains a professional license (or registry and 0B credential if an RDMS) Increases knowledge of health care management, obstetrical, and gynecological care, and women's health issues. Participates in annual skills refresher and assessment for competency in performing ultrasounds.

From $32.00 per hour
