HCA Healthcare is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for obstetric and high-risk perinatal patients. In this role, you will perform detailed ultrasounds, obtain accurate measurements, and collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and obstetricians. You will explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment. Responsibilities include managing imaging protocols, ensuring image quality, documenting findings, and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities Perform detailed obstetric and perinatal ultrasound examinations following established protocols Obtain accurate fetal and maternal measurements and document relevant clinical information Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, and nursing staff on patient care plans Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding of procedures through clear communication Assess image quality and adjust equipment settings to optimize diagnostic value Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, reporting issues as needed Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all imaging procedures Accurately enter, store, and manage imaging data within PACS and electronic medical records Support training and orientation of new technologists or students as requested Required Skills Perinatal and obstetric ultrasound imaging Fetal biometry and anatomic survey techniques Use of ultrasound equipment and PACSKnowledge of maternal-fetal anatomy and pathology Patient communication and education Electronic medical record documentation Infection control and safety protocols Critical thinking and clinical prioritization Collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams Quality assurance in diagnostic imaging
