Know Your Team:
The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities Perform high quality ultrasound procedures to support patient care. Provide patient education and demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure positive outcomes. Support the organization's priorities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by supporting the Ultrasound department and other Imaging Services areas as needed.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or acquire ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire date. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Ultrasound Tech with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
