Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Ultrasound Vascular Technologist to support a dynamic healthcare team. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through vascular ultrasound imaging services, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning.

Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized Ultrasound or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current credentials in Ultrasound Vascular and experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. Demonstrated proficiency in performing vascular sonography studies. Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and the principles of ultrasound physics. Current registry through ARDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS), or equivalent is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and medical staff. Familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining techniques and ensuring comfort throughout the exam. Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies according to established protocols. Collaborate with providers to determine appropriate imaging procedures and report findings. Document all procedures and patient information accurately in accordance with organizational policies. Ensure the ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance. Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines to create a secure environment for patients and staff. Assist with department workflow and support colleagues as needed for efficient patient care delivery.
