7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:30am-6:00pm About this role Per Diem, Diagnostic Sonographer, Diagnostic Sonography, Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA Job Summary Reporting to the Section Leader, Mammography/Sonography, utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis. Produces and evaluates ultrasound images and related data. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate of an educational program that meets eligibility for ARDMS registry. Experience Previous experience as a sonographer strongly preferred. Licensure and/or Certification Current registration with ARDMS; or ARDMS-eligible with ARDMS achieved within 1 year of hire. BLS healthcare provider required. Skills Ultrasound scanning skills in vascular, OBGYN, abdominal and small parts required. Must be able to understand oral and written medical/radiological/sonographic terminology. Must have comprehension of cross-sectional anatomy and correlation with anatomical structures. Must be able to identify pathological processes. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidential information.
