  • 12:00 AM |
Rotating Weekends Required Compensation Traveler Pay:
$70
  • 74/hr ($2,625
  • $2,775 weekly) based on experience
Local Pay:
$60
  • 65/hr ($2,250
  • $2,437 weekly) based on experience Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will utilize advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and excellent customer service throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for ultrasound procedures Select appropriate transducers and imaging settings based on examination requirements Obtain and review patient history, physician orders, and clinical data prior to imaging Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout examinations Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy Maintain accurate imaging records and properly label all studies Assist physicians with specialized ultrasound-guided procedures and biopsies Coordinate workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency within department standards Maintain equipment functionality and report maintenance or repair needs as necessary Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, confidentiality, and departmental policies Support a collaborative and patient-focused team environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program Credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties through ARDMS Active BLS certification required Strong understanding of ultrasound imaging principles and patient care standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as required All certifications and registrations must remain active and current throughout assignment For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
