Job Description

Gurnick Academy is a leading Private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs. Gurnick Academy is collaborating with a private Healthcare College and currently seeking a an Ultrasound Professional for our open position for Ultrasound Program Director in the Greater Detroit, Michigan Area This is a full-time, on-campus leadership position responsible for the academic, administrative, clinical, and operational oversight of the Ultrasound Technology program. This is an on campus position.

$90,000-$110,000

The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the program's didactic, laboratory, and clinical education. The PD coordinates curriculum delivery and laboratory protocols with Ultrasound Technology leadership and applicable programs to promote consistency, academic quality, and compliance with institutional and programmatic requirements. The Program Director is responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, evaluation, continued development, and effectiveness of the program curriculum. The PD also ensures the effectiveness and appropriate utilization of clinical affiliates and works collaboratively with clinical education personnel to support student achievement of required clinical competencies and learning outcomes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree preferred A minimum of 5 years work experience as a staff sonographer at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic 3+ years of teaching experience is recommended 1-2 years of college administration experienced recommended
ARDMS, RVT, RDCS
Current licensure in good standing within their discipline Preferred management work experience in a school environment Organizational knowledge of educational institutions Working knowledge or experience interfacing with strategic partners Knowledge and prior work experience with CAAHEP standards and accreditation process as it relates to Ultrasound Technology/Sonography/JRC-DMS in college environment
