Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical imaging team, in a busy, fast paced Cardiology Clinic. As an Ultrasonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound technology. This position requires expertise in medical imaging, sonography, and aseptic technique. If you are passionate about patient care and have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations in Echocardiography, Stress Echo, Carotid, upper and lower venous and arterial ultrasound, as well as experience in venous ablations.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient information
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
  • Proficient in medical imaging techniques.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Qualifications:
  • Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience as an Ultrasonographer (experience requirements may vary)
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in ultrasound technology
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and techniques
