Eastlake Cardiovascular, a leading cardiovascular practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, is seeking a Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer (Echo) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting . Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required, with Epic experience preferred . This position would be support both the St. Clair Shores and Rochester Hills offices. The Sonography Operations Supervisor provides operational and clinical oversight of sonography services across all office locations. This is a working leadership role. The individual in this position will continue performing regular sonographer duties while also assuming supervisory and operational responsibilities. This role ensures high-quality imaging, efficient workflows, consistent standards, strong team collaboration, accountability partnering with providers and leadership to support a professional patient-centered environment. Eastlake Cardiovascular, PC offers Competitive Benefits, including medical, dental, vision through BCBS Short-Term Disability (STD), Paid holidays PTO A weekly 8-hour shift schedule no nights or weekends Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight Develop and manage sonographer schedules across all locations Ensure appropriate staffing coverage for PTO, call-offs, and volume fluctuations Monitor patient flow and workflow efficiency to minimize delays Manage labor responsibility, avoiding overtime unless approved Quality & Clinical Standards Oversee image quality and ensure adherence to clinical standards Partner with providers to maintain and improve quality expectations Ensure all sonographers maintain required competencies and certifications Address quality concerns promptly and consistently Team Leadership & Performance Provide daily leadership and oversight to sonography staff across all sites Promote collaboration, communications, and consistency between locations Deliver ongoing coaching, feedback, and development support Address performance concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring appropriate documentation and partnership with leadership as needed Apply expectations consistently and fairly Policies, Compliance & Process Improvement Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures Ensure team understanding and adherence to Eastlake standards Support audits, compliance initiatives, and implementation of operational changes Department Standards Maintain a clean organized and patient-focused clinical environment Ensure equipment is properly maintained and issues are reported timely Reinforce accountability for room readiness, stocking, and professionalism Expectations for Success Strong leadership presence and communication skills Ability to effectively balance clinical responsibilities with supervisory duties Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities High level of organization, follow-through, and leadership Commitment to operational efficiency and clinical excellence Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient cardiovascular setting Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS, RDCS and/or RVT) certification required Prior lead, preceptor, or supervisory experience preferred Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills Proficiency in EMR documentation, with EPIC experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Benefits Competitive pay and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision for full-time and ACA 30+ employees. 401k Option and Company paid Short-Term Disability for eligible full time Paid time off - vacation and sick time (Combined Time Off - CTO) A supportive and team-oriented workplace with a focus to work-life balance.
