At University Health , our Vascular Sonographers deliver high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic imaging to support advanced clinical care. Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes. As a Sonographer , you will: + Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging , including vascular studies, with precision and compassion + Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies + Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department + Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program + Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hire + RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months + BCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment + Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team + Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning + Demonstrates understanding of the human development process and ability to care for patients across the lifespan + Computer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient data
