POSITION SUMMARY
The Vascular Ultrasound Tech performs all non-invasive vascular examinations; ensures all vascular examinations are performed and reports are delivered on a timely basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program Must be registered in vascular sonography by ARDMS or CCI, or registry eligible Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Previous vascular ultrasound experience recommended, but not required In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret ultrasound images Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and adjust setting to obtain diagnostic results Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team Ability to communicate effectively with patients
