, this is the perfect job for you. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer specializing in General, Vascular, and GYN and OB (both Diagnostic exams and Elective exam).
NO CALL & NO WEEKENDS.
In this vital role, you will utilize your advanced ultrasound skills to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care and outcomes. The position is a Solo sonographer within a smaller imaging center. (75% in clinic scanning and up to 25% mobile scanning). Family-type environment who understands the value of a healthy work-life balance. Pay includes the hourly rate, plus commission paid for OB Elective exams, and mileage reimbursement as well! Responsibilities Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including prenatal, gynecological, vascular, abdominal, and breast ultrasounds with accuracy and attention to detail. Operate and maintain advanced medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound machines, ensuring optimal image quality and safety standards. Apply comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology to capture precise images that aid in accurate diagnosis. Utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) to document findings efficiently and securely. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and provide clear communication regarding patient status. Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control. Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions with empathy while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Requirements Proven experience in general sonography with specialization in Vascular, OB GYN, or Women's health diagnostics. Proficiency in performing prenatal ultrasounds, gynecological ultrasounds, and vascular ultrasound imaging. Registry in at least one specialty required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Skilled in operating medical imaging equipment including ultrasound devices and PACS systems. Experience with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of imaging procedures and results. Familiarity with vascular technology diagnostics and echocardiography is highly desirable. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providers. Pay:
$48.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
