Ultrasonographer This position will provide health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The Ultrasonographer will perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following areas: OB/GYN, general, urological, and vascular. Will demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner; exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics; and apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Must be a graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and 3-5 years of experience are preferred.
