Job Description

The Clinic Vascular Technologist performs various vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations for patients. This role works under the supervision of the chief technical sonographer to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. The Clinic Vascular Technologist role requires specialized knowledge and expertise in vascular sonography and must hold certifications. The role aids in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions, thus contributing to improved patient outcomes and overall healthcare quality.
Essential Job Function:
Performs comprehensive vascular examinations for accurate and timely diagnoses to ensure effective treatment planning and patient care. Analyzes test data ensuring accuracy and attention to detail and effectively communicates the findings to the reading vascular physician in both verbal and written form to facilitate seamless collaboration and accurate interpretation of results. Demonstrates proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and requesting repairs for testing equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner to ensure the availability of reliable tools for accurate diagnostic testing and promoting patient safety. Maintains skills in all current procedures and actively seeks opportunities to learn new skills and procedures and adapting to advancements and changes in the field, to provide cutting-edge care and stay at the forefront of vascular technology. Upholds CPR certification to be prepared to respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of patients and contributing to a safe healthcare environment. Performs other duties as assigned.

RVT from ARDMS or RVS from CCI or RT-VS from ARRTBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
