POSITION SUMMARY
Organizes and manages the Diagnostic Medical Sonography section of the Medical Imaging department, and supervises section personnel. As a working supervisor, routinely performs the duties of an Ultrasound Technologist. EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
Completion of formal program in Ultrasound and certified with ARRT or ARDMS Thorough knowledge of ultrasound protocols, procedures, and techniques with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Previous supervisory experience. Demonstrated organizational and communications skills and leadership potential. BCLS certified.
Preferred:
Above plus Associate Degree in ultrasound technology or radiography. Supervisory course work, training and experience. IND456
