Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic vascular and general ultrasound studies per physician orders. Ensure accurate image capture, documentation, and analysis for diagnosis. Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed. Follow infection control and patient safety protocols. Provide compassionate, competent communication with patients and families.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent (ARDMS, RVT preferred). Demonstrated expertise in ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies. Prior experience as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer. Proficient in handling ultrasound equipment and imaging technology. Strong patient service orientation and interpersonal skills. Compliance with relevant medical and facility-specific regulations.
