Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Proven experience performing general ultrasound procedures with efficiency and accuracy Proficient in using contemporary ultrasound equipment and technology Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety guidelines Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling informative patient interactions Detail-oriented approach to image quality assurance and proper documentation Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of general ultrasound imaging exams, ensuring optimal image capture for diagnostic purposes Carefully explain procedures to patients to maintain comfort and cooperation Accurately document findings and maintain organized records within patient files Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely exam results Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting issues as needed to ensure continuous operation Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean work area This is a contract position, offering the chance to expand your professional experience while being part of a reputable healthcare setting committed to quality outcomes.
