Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced professional to provide high-quality patient care in an Ultrasound Vascular setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to utilize your ultrasound expertise in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound vascular procedures according to physician orders and department protocols Utilize ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images for interpretation Review patient histories and explain procedures, ensuring patient comfort and answering any questions Consult with radiologists and physicians as needed for accurate reporting Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any technical issues promptly Adhere to infection control and safety standards within the imaging department Document findings accurately within the electronic medical record systemDesired Experience & Qualifications:
Proven expertise as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with a strong focus on vascular imaging Valid ARDMS or CCI credential in vascular technology (RVT or RVS), or able to obtain before start Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum of one year of recent experience in vascular ultrasound preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting This contract position presents a chance to contribute your specialized skills to an established medical team.
