Qualifications/Desired Experience:
ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography Previous experience as an Echo Tech, with proficiency in adult and pediatric echo preferred Familiarity with standard imaging protocols and digital reporting systems Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Must possess excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform a full range of echocardiographic exams, including M-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color flow studies Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Analyze and review echocardiograms, providing preliminary findings to interpreting physicians Ensure quality assurance standards are met and imaging equipment is maintained Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA and facility guidelines Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and support staff
