Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging by working as an Ultrasound Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver quality patient care and collaborate with an experienced radiology team.
Schedule:
20-week contract Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule Call rotation required
Qualifications:
Current certification with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience in General Ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures Skilled in gathering and documenting accurate patient histories as related to imaging activities Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other clinicians
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic general ultrasound procedures with a high degree of clinical skill and patient care sensitivity Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with established standards Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely completion of exam documentation Assist radiologists and referring physicians in reviewing and interpreting ultrasound results Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times Flexibly participate in required call rotation and adjust to workflow needs as directed by leadership This position provides exposure to a broad range of cases within a supportive setting focused on excellent outcomes and professional growth.
