We are looking for a talented Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Claremont, NH. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your sonography skills while advancing your career as an ultrasound technologist. The travel assignment will entail acquiring and analyzing sonographic images from ultrasound sessions. You care about patients and are committed to helping to assess their respective conditions. You will prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, operate imaging equipment, identify normal and abnormal results, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.Job Responsibilities:
- Spread ultrasound gel on the surface of the patient's body, covering the area to be imaged.
- Perform the ultrasound, ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images of every angle/section that must be assessed.
- Record anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
Job Requirements:
- Valid state Sonographer registration, as applicable
- Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 2 years of ultrasound experience required within the last 5 years
