Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students for the 2026-2027 school year by providing essential support as a Paraprofessional within a welcoming educational environment. This contract position runs from September 2026 through June 2027, offering full-time hours (32-37.5 per week) and the chance to work closely with middle and high school students. Multiple opportunities are open—bring your commitment and care to a committed team that values your skills.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred Enthusiasm for working with middle or high school students Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and peers Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of students and classrooms High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in instructional activities and classroom management Work directly with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials Accompany and supervise students during activities, transitions, and meals Participate in IEP meetings or other student support planning as needed Collaborate with staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
