Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using established protocols. Prepare and position patients while explaining imaging procedures. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment for optimal image quality. Document patient information accurately in the EMR. Monitor patient condition and ensure a safe, patient-centered environment. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Bachelor's preferred). Minimum 2 years of Vascular Ultrasound experience . Current ARDMS certification with RDMS (Abdomen) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credentials. Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
