Ultrasound / Vascular Technologist (ARDMS / RVT)Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, quality-driven Ultrasound / Vascular Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality abdominal, small parts, and vascular diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols. Working directly with patients across diverse age groups, you will operate state-of-the-art sonography equipment, select proper transducers, assess patient comfort, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic findings in a safe, compassionate care environment.
Perform general abdominal (AB), small parts, and specialized vascular (RVT) sonographic examinations according to exam specifications and physician orders.
Equipment Optimization:
Select appropriate transducers and adjust gain, depth, and control settings based on patient body habits and target anatomical structures.
Patient Care & Safety:
Explain procedures to patients, assess pain levels interfering with imaging, adapt communication to patient age/understanding, and practice strict patient safety protocols to prevent medical errors.
Documentation & Equipment Care Clinical Documentation:
Document patient history, procedure details, and preliminary sonographer findings accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Maintenance & Quality Control:
Perform routine equipment inspections, adjust controls, maintain cleanroom standards, and report hardware or software malfunctions promptly.
