Vascular Sonographer Duties:

Perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations (e.g., carotid, venous, arterial, abdominal aorta, and peripheral vascular studies). Use Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow, detect blockages, clots, stenosis, or abnormalities in veins and arteries. Record and evaluate diagnostic images for interpretation by a physician (usually a vascular surgeon or radiologist). Measure and analyze velocity, flow patterns, and vessel diameters. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety.
