Part-Time About Us:
Growing vascular practice seeking an experienced
RVT/RDMS
to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations in both office-based and mobile settings. This role focuses primarily on venous insufficiency evaluations and peripheral arterial studies throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive venous insufficiency ultrasound examinations of the lower extremities Perform arterial duplex ultrasound examinations of the lower extremities Accurately document and upload studies in a timely manner Travel to patient homes and occasional office locations Participate in occasional community health screenings, healthcare events, educational programs, and outreach initiatives Maintain professional and compassionate patient interactions Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff regarding study findings and work flow
Requirements:
Current RVT and/or RDMS credential required Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred Prior vein clinic experience required Demonstrated proficiency in venous reflux/insufficiency studies, lower extremity arterial duplex examinations, and DVT studies Reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and occasional Northern New Jersey Strong communication and organizational skills
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling Approximately 1-3 days per week initially Opportunity for additional volume as practice grows Combination of home visits, office-based studies, and occasional healthcare events
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a high-volume vein clinic Familiarity with venous ablation treatment planning and post-procedure surveillance Experience performing studies independently in mobile environments EMR and cloud-based image management experience Comfortable interacting with patients and community members at health fairs and educational events
