This position will rotate between our Englewood and Jersey City, NJ offices based on coverage needs.Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-9:00AM Position Type:
Temporary, Part-Time Temporary Assignment:
This position is being hired to provide temporary coverage for team members on maternity leave. The assignment is anticipated to begin in October 2026 and continue through at least March 2027 , with the possibility of extension based on business and coverage needs.Job Purpose:
The Sonographer is responsible for providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to help identify the causes of infertility and to guide fertility treatments.Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments Establishes personal rapport with patients Provides explanations of procedures Performs detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalities Responsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretation Procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions. Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfers Tracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational age Maintains ultrasound equipment Orders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked Travel to other Company locations as needed Rotating holiday and weekend shift coverageAcademic Training:
Completion of formal Ultrasound training- required ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization
- required within 90 days of hire Current BLS Certification
- required within 60 days of hire
Position Requirements/Experience:
Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility- preferred 2
- 4 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
- preferred
