This position is primarily intended to provide occasional coverage for members of our existing ultrasound team. It is an excellent opportunity for a credentialed vascular sonographer seeking flexible, as-needed work within a specialized, patient-centered private practice. Chuback Vein Center is an established, independent specialty practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. Duties The Per Diem Vascular Ultrasonographer will: Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician direction Perform venous duplex and venous insufficiency/reflux studies Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation Document ultrasound findings clearly and accurately Maintain appropriate patient care, comfort, and professionalism throughout each examination Work collaboratively with the physician, nurse practitioner, medical assistants, and clinical team Maintain a high standard of technical quality and attention to detail Assist with occasional coverage needs based on staff vacations, absences, and practice needs

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Current credential as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations independently Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound techniques Excellent technical and diagnostic imaging skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative clinical team Professional, dependable, and flexible Experience performing venous insufficiency and reflux studies Experience working in a vascular surgery, vein, or specialty practice setting Experience with lower extremity venous duplex examinations Schedule This is a per diem, as-needed position intended primarily to provide coverage for our existing ultrasound team. Hours and days will vary based on practice needs, including staff vacations, scheduled absences, and other coverage requirements. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible. This position is ideal for an experienced vascular sonographer seeking occasional, flexible clinical work. Compensation $50-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Future Opportunity While this position is currently structured as per diem and based on coverage needs, our practice is continuing to grow. There may be an opportunity for additional hours or a future full-time position for the right candidate.
