Job Description

Overview University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S
  • based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas.
In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year. Responsibilities University Radiology is looking for a per diem Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Somerset, NJ Imaging Offices. Tuesday & Thursday 3:00 pm
  • 8:00 pm (or 4:00 pm
  • 8:00 pm) Saturdays 7:45 am
  • 1:00 pm Our Ultrasound Techs are also required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Techs must be certified in RVT and at least one of these areas to qualify. URG will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as a bonus once obtained.
  • May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
Qualifications ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast and OB/GYN Minimum of 2+ years of work experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Pay Range:
