This role offers the opportunity to work directly with and support Veterans, focusing on patient care, quality, and safety while utilizing specialized imaging skills and digital technology. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures
• Explain procedures and provide reassurance and support
• Obtain diagnostic images of internal organs, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality
• Monitor patients during procedures and report significant findings or changes
• Maintain accurate examination and patient documentation
• Utilize PACS and electronic health record systems
• Perform quality control and routine equipment checks
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and applicable facility policies
• Document delayed or incomplete studies and coordinate follow-up as required Schedule and Shift Details
