A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

What You'll Do As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside experienced teachers and center leadership to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partner with classroom teachers to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment. Support the development of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children through age-appropriate activities and interactions. Help implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® while responding to the individual needs and interests of each child. Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom where every child feels supported and valued. Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Communicate with families about their child's daily experiences, accomplishments, and milestones through mobile apps and personal conversations. Assist with classroom routines, activities, meals, transitions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to support the overall success of the center. Create a fun, energetic environment where learning happens naturally through play and exploration. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or experience is preferred. Must meet all state-specific requirements for the position. A genuine passion for working with young children. Patient, dependable, caring, and positive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Assistant Teacher Pay Range:
$16-$19 per hour , based on qualifications and experience.
