Up to $15,000 The Cardiac sonographer (Echocardiographer) functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising Cardiology physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the Cardiologist with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels. The Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups. This is an excellent opportunity for new grad or experienced Sonographers for those looking to expand their clinical exposure in a modern, technology-forward trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning Maintain imaging quality and equipment standards Document exams and findings accurately Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams

Qualifications:

Allied Health Accredited Program Graduate (Specialized Education Required) ARDMS certification required (Within 1 year of hire) New Mexico licensure (Needed at Hire) Experience in hospital or acute care setting preferred Strong patient care and communication skills
