Position Summary Ultracare Las Vegas is seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Diagnostic Full-Body Medical Sonographer to join our growing team. This position involves traveling to multiple physician offices throughout the Las Vegas Valley to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic images while representing Ultracare Las Vegas with professionalism. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Operate portable ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently. Travel daily between multiple physician offices throughout the Las Vegas Valley/ Henderson areas Verify patient identity and obtain accurate medical histories. Explain ultrasound procedures to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the examination. Produce diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Upload and manage studies through our digital PACS system. Complete accurate patient documentation and examination records. Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any equipment concerns promptly. Communicate professionally with physicians, office managers, medical assistants, and clinical staff. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Follow health and safety protocols. Assist with workflow improvements and support the continued growth of the company. Help maintain a positive, team-oriented caowdfcvulture while working independently in the field. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current ARDMS certification (or registry eligible if approved by management). Current BLS/CPR certification. Valid Nevada driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout the Las Vegas Valley/ Henderson daily Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and dependable. 3+ Years of experience Experience in general ultrasound. Experience performing thyroid, carotid, venous, arterial, abdominal, pelvic, renal, small parts, and soft tissue ultrasound examinations. Experience in performing echocardiogram examinations. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and transport portable ultrasound equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to assist patients with positioning when necessary. Frequent driving between clinic locations.
