36 months of experience. 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum three years of clinical experience in the respective department required.
• Breast imaging, diagnostics, biopsies, and whole breast ultrasound experience required.

Unit Details:

• Inpatient general ultrasound role performing diagnostic procedures of various organs and soft tissue.
• Procedures may include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy exams according to policy.
• Exams may be performed in the ultrasound department or on other departments and nursing floors as needed.
• Uses sophisticated ultrasound imaging units and reading/reporting systems.
• Cares for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• May train new staff and mentor sonography students.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Sat, Sun, Mon.
• No call.
• One additional shift required each schedule period.
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• May float to the needs of the organization up to competency level.
