36 months of experience. 3 months of travel experience is required.
Requirements:
This role will require floating to multiple units Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in the respective department required.
- Breast imaging, diagnostics, biopsies, and whole breast ultrasound experience required.
Unit Details:
- Inpatient general ultrasound role performing diagnostic procedures of various organs and soft tissue.
- Procedures may include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy exams according to policy.
- Exams may be performed in the ultrasound department or on other departments and nursing floors as needed.
- Uses sophisticated ultrasound imaging units and reading/reporting systems.
- Cares for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- May train new staff and mentor sonography students.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Sat, Sun, Mon.
- No call.
- One additional shift required each schedule period.
- Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays.
Floating Requirements:
- May float to the needs of the organization up to competency level.
Certifications:
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) BLS (Basic Life Support)
