Job Description

This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging and supporting providers in obtaining accurate results.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography or related field Valid ARDMS certification, or eligibility to obtain Proficient in general ultrasound procedures with strong technical and anatomical knowledge Prior experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Tech in a clinical or hospital environment preferred Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced setting and follow established imaging protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound imaging exams as requested by medical staff Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly, maintaining a reassuring environment Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Review images for clarity and completeness, collaborating with physicians as needed for optimal patient care Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in accordance with facility standards Uphold all safety and infection control protocols while handling equipment and during procedures This opportunity offers a rewarding environment where your skills are highly valued.
