About NYCMC New York Comprehensive Medical Care is a cardiology-first multi-specialty practice with five offices on Long Island. Cardiologists are on site and our imaging is read in house. The role Part-time ultrasound technologist at our Mineola office.

This is a multi-modality seat:

cardiac, vascular and abdominal studies in the same day. You scan, you complete your technical worksheets for physician overread, and you go home. No call. No hospital coverage. No weekend rounding. What we pay $50.00 per hour Part-time, so no health or retirement benefits Malpractice coverage provided at no cost to you The schedule - please read this part carefully 16 to 24 hours per week, typically two to three days. Days and shifts are assigned by the practice within our 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM operating hours, and schedules are published in advance. If you need to set your own days, this is not the right post, and we would rather you knew that now than at the interview. The work Transthoracic echocardiograms Carotid, venous and arterial duplex studies Abdominal and solid organ ultrasound - renal, hepatobiliary, aorta and retroperitoneal studies Preliminary measurements and technical worksheets for physician overread EKG, Holter hook-up and stress test support as the day requires Work alongside cardiologists on site. You are never the only clinical person in the building What we need You scan all three: echocardiography, vascular duplex and abdominal / solid organ studies. This is not a single-modality seat At least one active registry - RDCS or RCS for cardiac, RVT or RVS for vascular, or RDMS for abdominal. You do not need to be registered in all three Real hands-on experience in the modalities you are not registered in, and willingness to be checked off on them with us Outpatient scanning experience Comfort running your own scan schedule Details Job type: Part-time, 16 to 24 hours per week Work location: In person, Mineola, NY Interviews are held at our Smithtown office, weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Apply and we will come back to you to arrange a short in-person conversation.
