Performs all required echocardiography and Transesophageal echocardiography examinations at both campuses when necessary and assuring high quality patient care at all times. Responsibilities to include equipment evaluation, maintenance, procedure room set up, report, file, and tape preparation. Must be responsible for periodic On-Call duties and be available to respond within the timeframe outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guideline.Education/Training :
Technologist must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Formal training in diagnostic ultrasound.ARDMS/CCI
registered sonographer .Experience :
One year experience as an echocardiography technologist required. A working understanding and knowledge of equipment and physics of ultrasound/echocardiography.Licensure, Registration or Certification :
