Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and best practice standards. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure imaging equipment operates safely and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow techs to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicate results and procedures clearly and compassionately to patients and healthcare teams. Stay current with the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and compliance requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent). Demonstrated experience in general ultrasound procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient dignity and safety. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and protocols. Previous travel assignment experience is a plus, but not required.
