Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer. This contract position calls for a skilled professional adept in general ultrasound applications, ready to deliver high-quality diagnostic services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by using advanced imaging techniques and working collaboratively with physicians and medical staff.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specific scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in general ultrasound imaging Registry with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent credentials Proficiency operating modern ultrasound equipment At least one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused demeanor Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume setting Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound examinations and produce quality diagnostic images for interpretation Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results Document patient history and imaging procedures effectively and in compliance with healthcare regulations Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly Assist in scheduling and prepping patients for imaging procedures Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout each exam
