Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Extensive experience with General Ultrasound imaging modalities Proficient in producing quality diagnostic images and recognizing normal and abnormal imaging findings Familiarity with safety procedures and infection control standards in a clinical setting Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide clear explanations to patients BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations Explain procedures and address questions or concerns from patients prior to imaging Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to interpret and deliver accurate results Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records according to established protocols Maintain equipment by performing regular quality checks and arranging maintenance as needed Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies Support a collaborative and efficient department workflow In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to patient care in a dynamic and supportive setting.
