Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in general ultrasound imaging to a dynamic healthcare setting. We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a contract opportunity where you will be an integral part of a dedicated diagnostic imaging team. This role requires proficiency in utilizing ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent Current registration by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required Demonstrated experience performing general ultrasound imaging procedures Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to ultrasound imaging Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and imaging department protocols Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation Accurately document procedures and patient information in medical records systems Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and promptly report issues Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort and cooperation Adhere strictly to all safety and infection control protocols You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient outcomes, working with advanced imaging technology alongside a collaborative team of professionals.
