We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technician to join our dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) with precision to assist in accurate cardiac assessments. Support and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) procedures as required. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality, diagnostic cardiac images. Analyze preliminary imaging results and collaborate with physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and reassuringly, ensuring their comfort and understanding. Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, responding promptly to any physiological changes. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care. Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a secure clinical environment.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Echo Technician Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Excellent communication and patient-care skills, with a compassionate approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.
