Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent required) Proven competency in general ultrasound imaging techniques Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting is a plus Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with imaging equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and clinical staff Adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders and department protocols Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness Prepare patients for procedures, explain examination processes, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout Accurately document and compile exam results for review by radiologists and referring physicians Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality diagnostic information Maintain clear and thorough patient imaging records in compliance with facility policies
