Working as a Vascular Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist at this facility means joining a high-performing department dedicated to delivering advanced vascular imaging services. The environment here provides daily exposure to innovative practices in an IAC-accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Lab, letting you expand your technical expertise while learning from diverse leadership styles and collaborative colleagues. You'll build an impressive skillset and boost your resume with hands-on practice encompassing a broad range of specialized vascular and general sonography studies.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts weekly Rotating on-call: one weekday evening on-call every other week, one weekend on-call approximately every fifth week Team-oriented call schedule with five technologists sharing 24/7 coverage Occasional travel to local affiliated locations for additional coverage
Required Experience & Credentials:
Independent experience in both general and vascular ultrasound studies ARDMS certification required Four years or more of sonography experience is strongly preferred Proficiency performing: Venous/arterial duplex studies (upper & lower extremity) Carotid, bypass graft, mesenteric, renal artery duplex studies Vein mapping, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies Familiarity with IAC-accredited vascular lab protocols RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification desired
