This is a flexible, part-time/per diem opportunity for an RVT who wants to perform vascular ultrasound studies directly at healthcare facilities without being tied to a traditional hospital or imaging-center schedule. You will travel to assigned skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare locations throughout our Southern Ohio service area. This position is especially well suited for an RVT who already works in a hospital, vascular laboratory, imaging center, or another healthcare setting and is looking to pick up additional weekday work and supplement their income.

RVT CREDENTIAL REQUIRED

This position is specifically for a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Applicants must have an active

ARDMS RVT

credential or another recognized vascular credential and hands-on experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations. General ultrasound, diagnostic medical sonography, or non-vascular ultrasound experience alone does not qualify for this position. What You'll Do As a Mobile RVT with Ocean Wounds, you will: Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations Perform arterial and venous vascular studies Obtain accurate diagnostic-quality images and Doppler waveforms Properly position and prepare patients for examinations Follow established vascular imaging protocols Perform studies at skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care facilities Accurately document completed examinations Communicate professionally with facility staff and clinical providers Maintain patient privacy and follow applicable clinical standards Travel between assigned facilities throughout Southern Ohio Properly operate and maintain mobile ultrasound equipment Work independently while maintaining a high standard of clinical quality Required Qualifications Active ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential required Vascular ultrasound experience required Experience performing arterial and venous vascular studies Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology Strong understanding of Doppler ultrasound principles Ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic vascular images Ability to work independently Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to travel throughout the assigned Southern Ohio territory Preferred Experience We especially encourage RVTs with experience in: Mobile vascular ultrasound Hospital vascular laboratories Outpatient vascular laboratories Skilled nursing facilities Rehabilitation facilities Long-term care Multi-facility healthcare environments Independent field-based diagnostic work Schedule Part-Time / Per Diem Monday-Friday Daytime hours No weekends No overnight shifts Flexible weekday scheduling Scheduling coordinated around your availability We are looking for someone who can provide consistent weekday availability , but the schedule can be structured around your existing work commitments.
