$45-$65/hour | Full-Time / PRN| Outpatient Vein Practice MVM Health is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer / Registered Vascular Technologist to join our growing outpatient vein program in the Greater Columbus area. This position is especially well suited for an experienced vascular technologist with expertise in venous reflux and venous insufficiency studies who is looking for a stable outpatient position and the opportunity to help grow a regional vein program. The technologist will generally be scheduled to work at one clinic location during the workday . Occasional travel between MVM Health locations may be required as the practice expands. Responsibilities Perform venous insufficiency and venous reflux ultrasound studies. Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations. Obtain accurate diagnostic measurements and images. Follow vascular ultrasound protocols and quality standards. Review relevant patient clinical history. Maintain accurate and complete examination documentation. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients throughout their examinations. Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff. Maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical concerns. Help establish consistent vascular imaging workflows as the Columbus-area program grows. Qualifications Previous vascular ultrasound experience required. Experience performing venous reflux and venous insufficiency studies strongly preferred . RVT, RVS or RPhS certification preferred. Strong knowledge of venous anatomy and vascular ultrasound techniques. Ability to independently perform high-quality examinations. Excellent patient communication and documentation skills. Comfortable working in a growing outpatient clinical environment.
