Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound imaging as a Sonographer. This position offers a 13-week engagement, providing valuable experience in a dynamic medical environment.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour night shifts weekly Monday through Thursday, 7:30pm - 6:00am
Required Qualifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience performing a range of general ultrasound studies Familiarity with modern imaging equipment and protocols Strong attention to detail in capturing and documenting images Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
Role Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort throughout the examination process Accurately document findings and assist with preparing reports for radiologists Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate concerns and explain procedures Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and infection control standards Manage workflow efficiently during overnight shifts, contributing to high patient care standards
