Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Opportunity available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging - Ultrasound General and proficient as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer. This contract position is for a period of 13 weeks.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Nights:
7:30pm - 6:00am, Monday through
Thursday Required Qualifications:
Current certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Demonstrated experience performing general ultrasound procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging techniques Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations following physician orders and protocols Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret and communicate results Prepare and maintain exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, ensuring readiness and infection control standards Accurately document procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system Address patient questions and make the imaging process as comfortable as possible Adhere to all regulatory requirements and standards of care This engaging contract role allows you to utilize your expertise within a well-equipped facility that values precision and patient-centered care.
