Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Bring your specialized imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment for a 13-week contract assignment. This crucial frontline role focuses on providing comprehensive ultrasound imaging services to support patient diagnosis and care. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and fellow clinicians to deliver accurate results while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour night shifts per week 7:30pm - 6:00am, Monday through
Thursday Qualifications:
Current ARDMS certification required Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Demonstrated proficiency with general ultrasound technologies and techniques Prior experience as an Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer in a fast-paced clinical setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality, general ultrasound imaging procedures following established protocols Prepare, inform, and position patients for exams, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for immediate feedback and coordinated care Accurately document findings and maintain thorough records in compliance with confidentiality protocols Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed Adhere to all facility infection control and safety policies Contribute to a positive, productive atmosphere within the imaging department Embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful impact alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
